  13. I read in a Symantec C++ web page that the Symantec C++ 7.0 to 7.2 update is 
  14. freely available by calling a certain number.  Being in South Africa that does 
  15. not help me much.   Can anyone tell me if there is another way of obtaining 
  16. the update?

  18. And when (if?...) the MFC 4 update is available, where could it most likely be 
  19. found?

  21. By the way, Symantec C++ is an excellent development environment in my 
  22. opinion.  If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive and powerful C++ 
  23. compiler, SC++ is it.    I've been using it for a few weeks now for my amateur 
  24. programming and I'm quite impressed.
